The Week in Review: Money Issues #7

“The Week in Review: Money Issues” is my weekly blog research on financial topics that define us as Americans, and shape the way we should do business.

What day is it? Oh yea, it’s Friday again — Woo Hoo!

This week really flew by, and I couldn’t tell you how (it just did). Monday (forget Monday, the Eagles lost to Dallas, dang it!). Tuesday became Wednesday, which became …. Ok, now it’s the end of the week and the fun is about to begin. Pack your stuff up and join me as I wave to the boss and walk towards the front door.

I found some terrific articles today while surfing (the web, not the ocean) and I hope you enjoy them:

The Bearded Iris: Show Me the Money. This, I have to admit, is a pretty funny article about saving on a lot of trivial things. Too bad she won’t be saving when that crazy Scientologist sues her over that title (sorry Tom, you were great in Tropic Thunder. BTW: Where’s Katie hiding at these days [certainly not somewhere fun like Dawson’s Creek]?)!

New York Post: ‘I LOST $6M OVERNIGHT’. Lehman Brothers was doing some bad, bad things and now even their shareholders and employees are suffering. I hope this Mr. Shorr guy took this photo before he found out the bad news (if not, that’s just downright creepy)!

MoneyNing: Fixing True Life Finances. To that lady whose daily habits are being spied on by this crazy coworker (who just happens to be a financial blogger): Read this and get your crap together (you’re blowing way too much money).

PEREZHILTON.COM: They Want Your Money. Written from a viewpoint our American youth (who will be the deciding factor in this election) can truly understand. Oh, and I said Perez, not Paris — that brain-dead, no-talent actr… (Wait, what is she exactly. Help me understand — please!)

AfterDowningStreet.Org: Impeach FAQ. And a large percentage of Americans want a third term of this? It just isn’t logical, not when so many hard-working Americans can no longer afford the “dream”. My advice: find your real answers away from the idiot box, and help save this country!

If you liked what you just read, please join your fellow Remixers and give me a few minutes of your valuable time with a little bit of feedback (this way you’ll get what you want: a website who actually listens to its readers). Geoff and I would love to know what you want us to write about so lay it on us — not too heavy, though (LOL)!

If you haven’t yet, please subscribe to our feed or email! This way we’ll be able to send you instant notifications of our latest posts which are made bakery-store fresh every weekday (Don’t forget: there are still weekend posts all through the month of September).

Catch you on Monday … I’m having a very busy next few days (three Phillies/Marlins games, one Eagles/ Steelers game, and a Brad Paisley concert [which my fiancée wanted to go to, so what could I say?] on Saturday). Anyway, enough of my nonsense — have a great weekend! I mean it!
