The Office Bet: Michael Jackson’s Glove

Hello readers, I need your help (seriously)…

mj white glove (1).sflb

You see, thanks to a small group of gamblers at my place of employment, I stand (or at least thought I stand) a great chance of winning about 200 smackaroos when the King of Pop’s glove goes up on the auction block October 2nd! However, there’s a slight snafu: I put down my $20 thinking that it’s going to go for $1.3 million (sounded like a pretty solid number to me at the time. After all, it’s the glove that defined Michael’s performances, so why shouldn’t it be more valuable?) but I read somewhere today that the estimates only fall between $60,000 and $80,000 (only he said … God, that’s a lot of money for a single freaking glove [to say the very least] where I come from). Since all bets are now closed, there’s no chance of me actually taking home the pot, is there? Drats, if you said no (note: I knew the answer, but didn’t want to hear it just yet … I’m in denial, as the experts would say)!!!

So what do you think people? Could this prized possession ever reach my guessed price? My window of opportunity is in between $1 million and $1.6 million … do I have a shot? Let me know what you think below …

Well, thanks for your help … Oh well, it’s only money!!
