The Frugalite’s “Bible” Is White With Green, Purple, Orange And Blue Pages!

As you know, I am always looking for ways to save some money for both my readers and myself, and I thought that I would share this with you, even though it might sound like an advertisement (note: it’s not):

Well, since the early nineties, I have been buying the Entertainment Book (that white book that you see at the counter in the drugstores or groceries) annually, and this little goldmine has been allowing me to enjoy many meals out on the cheap, and the benefits definitely outweigh the cost (which usually rings up around $35 a pop). After the initial fee (which I, to be honest, don’t like) I figure it this way: if I use two or three coupons I will have covered the cost of the book and then the rest is just gravy!

If you’re not familiar with the Entertainment Book, welcome to Earth … no, just kidding, here’s a little primer: the book contains discount coupons for all kinds of restaurants, shopping, activities and services. Most of the discounts are buy one, get one discounts — for example, buy one meal, and get a second one of lesser or equal value for free (sweet, huh?). Most of the coupons are of the tear-out variety, but the coupons for the more expensive restaurants (which I never go to unless it’s an anniversary or something) come in the form of a plastic card that you use when you pay your bill. The book usually has a number of different sections, broken down by the type of establishment. That’s it … actually you won’t know how sweet it is until you have one in your own hands (I get that)!

In my humble opinion, this book is one of the best coupon books you will ever find: you can regularly, and very easily, find great savings for local restaurants, events (ex. sporting venues, concerts), services (ex. gas stations, tailors) and shopping. Each Entertainment Book is unique to your local area, so you will be sure to find a wide range of coupons and savings you can use on a regular basis, right in your neck of the woods!

Go ahead … ask a random group of people, and you’re likely to get a pretty varied group of responses when it comes to the Entertainment Book. Some people swear by it and love all of the deals they can get, and the money that they usually save. Others, on the other hand, will tell you that they feel it’s a scam and a waste of your money (I just don’t understand these people and their backwards way of thinking). To me, the Entertainment Book is head and shoulders above the competition (I swear, they are not paying me a dime to say this — if they would offer though, I wouldn’t say, “no” [hint, hint])!

This book literally helps communities, and it’s a win-win all around: the business gets new customers, you get to enjoy great deals and take advantage of all of the great local dining, lodging and entertainment options in your area, and you can easily make up the tiny cost of the book in one weekend using just a few of the hundreds upon hundreds of coupons at your disposal. Go ahead and buy it, you won’t be disappointed …

BTW: Go to their website this month (January) and they’ll knock 35% off the cover price for you (this deal just keeps getting sweeter, right?).

Dear makers of the Entertainment Book: YOU ROCK! Now where’s my money (LOL. I’m just joking people).
