It’s that time of year again people …

Christmas is right around the corner (I bet your kids know this all too clearly … am I right?)! Now, I don’t care who you are, what religious background you have, your political beliefs, where you live or any of the other stuff that makes us only slightly different from each other, but when it comes to one thing in this country we can all agree on this (at least those of us whose last name isn’t Scrooge): Christmas trees are awesome … I mean really totally awesome!
Don’t you just love the smell of them? Or the way they brighten up your day when you see them all lit up in your living room … or in a store display somewhere while you’re out shopping? I mean, I could be wrong about all of this, but really I don’t see how I could be … Continued

My friend, I have a great solution to the mid-day, hair-pulling sessions that a lot of American office workers are experiencing in today’s workplace, but it might take you out of your comfort zone a bit. If this doesn’t scare you off, and you don’t mind skipping your daily junk food at the local fast food joints, please know that I’m talking about a lunch-walk at a nearby park (only a tiny patch of land is needed) and read on — this is how I release my mind’s pressure valves when I get to my tune-out-everything spot: Continued

“The Week in Review: Money Issues” is my weekly blog research on financial topics that define us as Americans, and shape the way we should do business.
Well, the weekend is here again, and I’m ready for some baseball and brews! I’m clearing up my last couple of “things to do” before I make a break for the front door.
Let me start by saying that my first week was fun, and I really enjoyed writing for you so far. They have me loaded up on tons of coffee (ok, I have no one to blame but myself for that) and every Friday they have delicious meals ordered in for the staff. So with a java-induced migraine and a waddling stomach, I leave you with some interesting blogs that are sure to save you some green.
Please, enjoy: Continued
