“The Week in Review: Money Issues” is my weekly blog research on financial topics that define us as Americans, and shape the way we should do business.
Oh my God, I can’t believe I made it through the week!
I have been super tired every morning of this week, and I know for a fact that it started with me having a three-day bender (read: I got trashed) watching my Phillies sweep the Marlins! Hey, did you ever notice how expensive beer can be when you’re in a ballpark? Well, I didn’t because I snuck a ton of it in both nights (I even brought in a s@#tload of airplane liquor bottles for the rounds of shots that we all did later on [around the seventh inning stretch])! The goofballs at the gates caught the two cold ones in my front pockets, but apparently they never heard of back pockets and waistbands (LOL … no seriously, LOL). Needless to say, I had a great time, and I’m now I’m paying for it all week long (man, I’m getting old)!
Well, here goes the good stuff, which I try to offer you every Friday (for those of you who don’t know me yet … let’s try to change that): Continued

Is it Friday already?
Man (used as an expressive noun. Not gender specific), these weeks have just been zooming by … I could have sworn we just got a new President and won the World Series last night! Well, this is my 44th review, and just like that other #44 (my man, BHO) I’m going to add a little extra flavor to the mix (oh, that’s why my last review was full of crap! LOL) and keep it coooool! Yea, I’m pretty happy with the way things are going in the White House lately, unlike the sheep who parrot whatever the media tells them to (Sorry, I won’t get into it here! It’s just sad though). Hey Barack: keep up the good work!
Well, now that I mixed politics and Friday chit-chat (my bad) here go the goodies (at least I think they are): Continued

The EEEEENNNNNDDD of the week (Wooo Hoo)! It’s about time!
I swear, these last five days were dragging (I don’t think that slowing-down-on-coffee idea I told you about in my last review is really working for me — any legal suggestions [I’m not one of those guys. However, I might have to jump back on the sauce {read: coffee} if I can’t think of anything else. LOL]?) Well, regardless of this little speed bump, I got so much accomplished this week it’s not funny! On top of this, I, and the rest of the creative team, had to move all of our stuff over to a new, kick-ass, state-of-the-art building with a coffee maker in my office (why do they tempt me so? Why?) so I’m really, really ready for the weekend, of which I worked so hard to get to!
Well, here goes the good stuff (that’s what she said!): Continued

Ok, It’s time to get out of here pretty soon, seeing as how it’s getting late in the day!
If you read last week’s review, you know that I am a new man as of last Saturday. Well, I have to be totally honest with you: the married life seems to be no different from the single one, with a couple of exceptions, of course. No longer can I be depressed about not finding my one true love, and never will there be a time when I get to burn a dinner by myself, and then eat it by myself (this is a big one for me. LOL).
Well, enough of my sappy stuff … here goes the best that I could uncover this week while blog-surfing: Continued

One more month until 2009! Holy crap!
It feels like just last week since 2007, but I guess that’s a good thing because this whole election thing was just drawn out way too long, if you ask me! Also, the two things that I wanted accomplished this year, which I had no control of, had materialized at last: 1) the 2008 Philadelphia Phillies came through for me (it’s been a long time coming. Seriously, I was 7 last time it happened [but I was screaming just the same back then]), and 2) The Democrats just won the political lottery (I’m blue, through and through). So before everyone else in the media does their dumb, end-of-the-year cherishing stuff, let me be the first to tell you that I loved this year and hope to have many more like it!
Thank you 2008: except for the $4 gas for a few months, you rocked! Ok reader, enough of my craziness, the following is what else I could scrounge up while blog surfing today … enjoy: Continued
