“The Week in Review: Money Issues” is my weekly blog research on financial topics that define us as Americans, and shape the way we should do business.
Hello everybody … I’m in a great mood today!!!!
Go Phils … I knew you could do it! So, you guys ready to get the hell out of there for the weekend? Got some kick-ass plans? This week flew by for me, even though I was tired as hell from staying up all night on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (what, you thought I was going to be able to sleep WHILE my team is playing for a World Series spot … child, you so crazy! That would never happen … not in a million years [I’ve been a fan way to long {’78 – when I was five – to be exact}]) … Whew, am I spent … but I also feel so alive!!! Four more to win Phils … only four more!!! Let’s do it!
Well, here goes the goods people (in between my acting like a complete child, who’s giddy as hell, I must add). Enjoy: Continued

Hey guys,
You ready to get out of here for the weekend? Tired of sitting in that awfully hard chair that your boss bought at a huge discount? Are you ready for some football? Got plans with the family? Well the time is almost at hand, so at least there’s some good news for you! God, I love the Fridays (why couldn’t everyday be Friday? Oh, because there would be no weekends, I get it! Duh, on my part)! Ok, gotta’ blare the Marley now … as its part of our ritual on this most glorious of days.
Here goes some of the best stuff I could find, so you can read, while you’re waiting for the closing bell. Enjoy: Continued

I’m about to make “it” happen …
What’s that you ask? Well, my work for the week is wrapped up a day early, and I have almost nothing to do for the next eight hours, if I stayed! Woo Hoo! Looks like someone will be jumping in the old car (I mean really old … my car’s a hunk of junk) and heading towards mi casa to kick off the weekend celebrations (by this, I mean a Phillies/Mets ballgame tonight, tomorrow and a double header on Saturday with an Eagles/Panthers game shown simultaneously at 1:00 pm! Sick, right? Ok, I guess not if you’re routing for another team … oh well). This is going to be sweet …
Now here goes the goodies, which I just cranked out way too early for you, my dear readers, this morning: Continued

We just had a meeting with our new health insurance provider at work (to go over our new policies) and man was this freaking slickster horrible at his job (I think they get paid to be this bad … no, I’m pretty sure they do, come to think about it)!
When Jack (said slickster) opened his cocky-sounding pie-hole, out poured a ton of used car salesman tactics, which threw my bulls@#t meter into a frenzied tailspin (note: I have a high-quality one). Through the stench, he told us not to follow along in our booklets, because we might get CONFUSED (I’m not kidding) while he was speaking (truth: we’re pretty smart at my work … I bet we could have managed somehow. LOL). After his elemental “whatever that was”, it was time for a little Q&A, of which he had none of the A’s (I mean it … he was BAAD). Someone asked “Why is the E.R. deductible now $200, instead of $150 (that’s a 33% increase)?” and another questioned, “Why is the one plan only good in this state (another great question … followed by a sloppy half-a@#ed answer). At the end of this nonsense, I came to the realization that we wouldn’t be with these scam-artists long (note: they were a major provider … no fly-by night here) and then thought to myself, “Obama’s healthcare plan better pass through Congress, because this industry is certainly broken (the cause: greed … plain and simple)!” Continued

You mean to tell me that I have been doing these reviews for a whole year now?
Man, this year just flew by, and here … on the dawn of my Money Issues anniversary … I’m tired as hell! You see, I couldn’t get to bed right away last night (the last time I looked at my alarm clock it read 1:34 am … sucks) because I was too pumped up by that outstanding win my Phightin’ Phils took away from the D-Back (we swept them, AND opened a gaping hole in our divisional lead at the same time … Woo Hoo!) and coincidentally, I got to see how badly A.J. Feeley still is for my Eagles in our preseason game against the Colts (God, I can’t wait until Vick takes the field in green, silver, white and black … ah, whatever PETA people). They served him up a nice ass-whooping last night … freaking bum!
Well anywho … here goes the good stuff that I had to run around and collect this morning, while not really knowing what’s going on in the real world yet (BTW: I had some amazing, “I’m richer than balls” dreams last night). Enjoy: Continued
