Being true to yourself is not an easy thing to do in America!

It’s true: in this country, we’re judged by what we own, and what we do for a living … not who we are (note: you can thank the f-ing media for this phony bullshit)! That’s why it’s so hard to remain true to yourself … our whole freaking culture is based on competiveness, of which I don’t think is necessarily the worst thing in the world (our economy depends on it, after all) … it’s just the fact that we have been fully trained to define everyone as either winners or losers (“I don’t do that,” you say? Bullshit to that lie!). “He’s a janitor, so he must be a loser,” or, “He’s a Fortune 500 CEO, so he must be a winner,” is the kind of phony s@#t we’re taught to scream from the rooftops, all parrot-like!

It’s true (whether you want to admit it or not): we’re all guilty of judging people based on how they look, what cars they drive or the friends that they have! Here’s a question: have you ever been nervous to approach a person because they have a better job title than you? Sure you have! Have you ever avoided someone because they looked homeless? You better say “yes”! Well, judging others based on this irrelevant s@#t is kind of inevitable, so don’t feel bad since we all do it from time to time! Hey, it’s the first thing we see, right? Want to discover your real purpose in life? NO, I’m not talking about your stupid job, your daily grind, or even your long-term goals … no, I mean the REAL reason why you’re placed on this earth — the very reason why you exist! Yes? Good, then let’s start …

Perhaps you believe that life has no meaning (note: that’s just freaking sad right there). Well, it doesn’t matter anyway, because not believing that you have a purpose won’t prevent you from discovering it, just as a lack of belief in gravity won’t prevent you from tripping all over the place. It’ll just take you a little longer to figure things out is all! Most likely though if you don’t believe you have a purpose, then you probably won’t believe what you’re reading right now anyway, but even so, what’s the risk of investing a little time and energy trying to figure this whole “purpose” thing out? When it comes to getting ahead in life, there are two polar-opposite trains of thought …

The first comes from the mouth of those who are on the road to success … the ones who believe that anything is possible (of which it is, if you know where to look). These enlightened people know for a fact that they can pay off all their debts, save for things they really need, and ultimately live a very bright life in the process. They consistently plan for the future, they work harder than most, and they make sure stuff gets done. This, my friend, is the “can do” attitude.

Then, sadly, there are those who believe that improving their situation is just too impossible without any handouts from people with money (who really want to keep them there)! Their motto: the little guy just can’t get ahead. These misinformed individuals truly believe that everyone else has some kind of advantage over them (the real truth: no one does, unless you let them). They’re of the opinion that others who have gone on to do well have gotten there because they treated others unfairly, or because they were handed it on a silver platter. Note: these false ideas are poison to those who drink it! Continued

We all have that one friend who likes to lavishly throw their money around!

Here’s one of their stories, in a nutshell: you get a call from this spendthrift and they tell you they’ll be over in a second, and they hold true to their promise. Now when they pull up they are behind the wheel of some expensive sports car, and when they get out they are literally begging you to drool all over it! If you do, they cherish the moment; if you don’t they think you’re jealous! In either case … they fail to see that they paid way too much to get your approval (and when that day finally hits them it’s going to be too late, and they’ll be stuck making those expensive monthly payments)! “I just can’t do it … I tried it like a hundred times, but I always fail. I’m a loser baby, so why should I keep on going? People are laughing at me, but they don’t know how hard it is! I hate to give up, but I must! Man, I wish things could have been different, but when I really think about it, I always knew it was going to turn out this way! I knew it every since I was a kid. Well, it’s never going to happen for me … better GIVE UP now.” Ah, shut the hell up … you panty waste!

God, I hate people who talk like this … who give up at the first sign of trouble! Do you think we’d be here today if our founding fathers gave up so easily … just surrendered themselves to the British, I mean? And what about Henry Ford … do you seriously think we’d be where we are today without mass-produced, affordable transportation? No, we wouldn’t, if you were confused about that one! So why not do yourself a huge favor and drop all that loser talk right now … your job in life is far from done (I mean really far)! Continued
