Opportunity Knocks … Like ALL The Time!

Some people say, “You’ll only get one chance to achieve what you really want to do in life.” Then again, some people are idiots … and only these idiots talk like that!

OpportunityKnocks

You’ve heard me right … only stupid people believe that opportunity only knocks once in a lifetime. Here’s the simple truth of the matter: it knocks a thousand times … a million times even, if you’re listening to it. And that’s the problem: most of the times we don’t listen to it, we don’t see it right in front of our faces, or we don’t want to put in the “man hours” (A.K.A. hard work) when we do. The part that lazy people will never get is that opportunities will simply pass you by, if you’re not ready for them!

Why do some “lucky” people succeed when their “opportunity” knocked? Well, they were ready for it, that’s why! They knew what they were getting into (read: they gained experience beforehand, and were well-trained to handle it)! And NO, they didn’t need money to make money (only scam artist/ self-important gurus like Don Lapre will greedily tell you this) and didn’t have to be “born into it” (that’s just loser talk, so stop yourself right now if that’s running through your head)! Hey, we’re all born winners, and stay that way until the day we give up in life and settle for less …. so the real trick in life is to never do that (settle for less, I mean)! Plus, when you’re really ready for opportunity, it will come to you much more often (that’s how it works … I didn’t make up the rules)!

Why is preparation so important? Well, because it creates a much larger impact on the outcome of your experience. Plus, it’ll actually gives you an advantage over everyone else: when you’re prepared, you’re more confident, and confidence is like a super-duper, goal-reaching magnet (it literally sucks people in who can help you further your mission). It’ll also help you eliminate your fears (I learned this the hard way: I have a Public Speaking Degree … I know, I know … I’m s@#t-house crazy) but if you don’t take the time to prepare in advance, you’ll probably be a nervous wreck when it comes your way!

So, if you have a passion or dream in life, I encourage you to begin acting like it now! Start heading in the direction of that desire so all you’ll need to do is step into the moment when it’s “your” time to shine! And you MUST believe in yourself: it’s imperative when opportunity knocks at your door. Why? Well, negative emotions breed negative actions, that’s why! During these situations it is necessary to grab the bull by its horns, and focus on the output, especially when you feel exhausted, and are at the breaking point of giving up. Focus will take you step-by-step towards your goal (which will be kick a@# when you reach it)!

Here’s a bonus: external situations shouldn’t hold you back … ever! That stuff is merely background noise, which can only be heard by those not listening to the big picture. Yea, I know you’ve heard this all before and didn’t take it seriously, but it’s absolutely true! As humans, we have a tendency to float along in life … doing what comes easiest or most familiar to us, and simply getting by (while people are succeeding all around us). We “live” in our comfort zone (at least we think we’re living) and sure, it may be lousy, but at least we know what we’re in for. It’s not until we are plunged into turmoil that we begin evaluating our lives and then, and only then, are our minds finally open to change. Why wait for that? Think about what you want out of life today, and then go find a way to make it happen … it’s out there waiting for you (believe me, I had to do the same thing)!

My friend, opportunities are all around you, almost every single day! Now, it only takes one of those opportunities to change the course of your life completely … so forget about that “once in a lifetime” garbage — it’s not over till it’s over! So go ahead … stop for a moment and think long and hard about what you would consider to be your opportunity of a lifetime, and then go hunt it down!

Be honest … if that opportunity were to knock on your door today, would you be ready for it, or would you fail the test miserably because you weren’t prepared? If you said “fail”, get your s@#t together BEFORE that day comes! Good luck, my friend, good luck!
