It’s that time of year again people …

Christmas is right around the corner (I bet your kids know this all too clearly … am I right?)! Now, I don’t care who you are, what religious background you have, your political beliefs, where you live or any of the other stuff that makes us only slightly different from each other, but when it comes to one thing in this country we can all agree on this (at least those of us whose last name isn’t Scrooge): Christmas trees are awesome … I mean really totally awesome!
Don’t you just love the smell of them? Or the way they brighten up your day when you see them all lit up in your living room … or in a store display somewhere while you’re out shopping? I mean, I could be wrong about all of this, but really I don’t see how I could be … Continued

Oh, here we go again … my wife just turned on The Hills! You know, that phony reality show with a no-talent, hack cast (can you tell that I hate this show already? No? Ok, read on then …)!

This show is solid proof that American television is going down the crapper! I don’t even understand what this stupid show is about or what in the world it’s doing actually infecting my television set with all its brain-dead babbling about nothing in particular. Ok, I know this show is catering to high school girls in order to make them go shopping, buy expensive phones, and get plastic surgery, but why is my wife hooked on this garbage (she’s in her late 20’s, by the way)? You know who’s benefiting from this show? The corporations, that’s who!
There is nothing realistic about these phonies’ lives. For instance, the last time I checked, internships don’t last for years and they’re not typically given out to a group of college dropouts. I guess the reason they work at fashion companies is because there weren’t any current openings at a place that wasn’t ripping people off by the billions. Furthermore, if it were any more scripted it would have been taken off the air during the latest round of writer’s strikes. I tell you … the conversations that pour out of these idiot’s mouths are so awkward and forced that they make me uncomfortable just listening to them … in my own house, nonetheless. I literally cringe every time they talk! Continued

Three months ago, my wife cancelled her Planet Fitness membership in Boca Raton, FL (note: this gym is very bare bones … no extras here) and was told she must send a certified letter stating her intent to their billing company, ABC Financial. I know, I know … since when has a simple “I want to cancel now” not been good enough?

So anyways, she sent this certified letter, per instructions (I actually went to the post office as a witness to it) and we weren’t really surprised by the extra month’s charge being taken out by these scam artists (because they said that they would be taking it out, of course)! However, we WERE shocked to see another withdrawal made in June, so I personally phoned these bastards to get a status report on her cancellation, and was told by one of their representatives that the letter was never received! Bulls@#t to that … we have a return slip right here that says it was delivered. Right there and then, I flipped my lid, and demanded a manager get on the f-ing phone (man, was I p@#sed)! Continued

Has anyone, over the age of 18, noticed that the music out there today is complete and utter trash?
Seriously, I can’t think of any new songs that move me, and that’s just freaking sad to fathom! To be fair, poppy Top 40 s@#t has always sucked, AND it always will. Nowadays, however, even rock, rap and country can’t get “it” together. Musicians have lost their souls; it’s all about selling an image anymore, and that’s not what “real” music is all about! Real music is supposed to make you think about life … not about how much money some crappy band makes, or how cute of a lead vocalist the corporations can hire (some of the greatest singers in the world were ugly as f@#k … but they sang their asses off to make up for this shortcoming. Now, it’s the complete opposite)! Only a handful of artists are bringing anything original to the plate (without sampling classics, of course). Today, it all sounds the same, and there’s a sad reason for this: corporate bastards have taken the wheel, not the musicians! Continued

MoneyRemix’s spam filters must not be working properly (I have been getting the weirdest comments lately)!
Seriously, what’s up with the freaking Russian messages that keep jamming up my inbox. Guys, I don’t speak Russian, know Russian, and another thing: why would someone who only spoke Russian visit my site? Sorry if you’re Russian … I’m also getting Chinese, some illiterate stuff, a million words strung together, and even some Swahili messages (I think).
Then there are my “favorite”: the nasty, pointless letters! Really, how are you going to write that I’m a POS, just because you don’t agree with me? I’ve been called a sexist, a racist, a liar, and cheesy over the last few days … here’s the truth: I’m none of the above! Hey weird people who are piling on these messages, you don’t know me! I’m not that bully in High School (I was bullied) or that guy who broke your heart (Ok, maybe I was … if that’s you [you know who you are, Miss Sensitive]). Continued
