Caution: High Achievers At Work!

High achievers, or rock stars as they’re so often called, are the best thing that will ever happen to your business … trust me!

Did you hear that, new business owners and entrepreneurs? If not, listen to me again … high achievers will always take responsibility for their actions and behaviors … perhaps that’s why they are the people we all want to be around like all the time; why we want to help them succeed and why they garner so much influence over everyone else. These successful people actually create their own reality … one that works for both themselves AND for others around them (including you, if you’ve hired them) and above all else, they will make you filthy rich if you let them. So, whether your place has one employee or 100, recruiting and retaining these special kinds of people certainly equals profitability (you love that word, don’t you? Yea, I thought so!)! Continued

I Hate When Companies Start Getting Cheap!

Somewhere in the middle of the 1990’s (sorry, I can’t pinpoint the year, as I used to live a very hectic lifestyle. God, I miss those days!) I purchased an AB 30 vs travel alarm clock from Braun.

This little puppy woke me up, just like it was intended to do, like clockwork all over this world, and on all types of mornings — whether they were the rainy days that made me want to throw the covers over my head and ignore the outside world, or the sun-filled ones that made it very easy on my alarm clock to get me out of bed! I would have never gotten rid of this “Made in Germany” gem, but it just stopped working for me the other month, and as I found out later: this model is no longer produced — it was upgraded to a newer one with much more bells and whistles (not to mention double the price). Never Fall For A Multi-level Marketing Scam!

Multi-level marketing (MLM) is nothing but a big joke!

For me, time is life, and I don’t like to waste it! This one jerk-off I met the other day, however, not only didn’t get this memo, but he also went on an on with his spiel, even though I assured him numerous times that I was not interested in the least. “But wait …” he kept saying. Then came my responses, “No … not at all … never.” Man, what don’t some people just “get it” when you tell them something!

Do you know what this type of marketing is all about? If so, I’ll catch up with you later. If not, let me give you a short rundown: for starters, only the names ever change (the essential information is always the same) and the following description will paint you a clear picture of how the vast majority of theses scams are full of crap, but not opportunity. Don’t Think Too Hard About S@#t!

Have you ever had the following internal dialogue, right before making a potentially life-altering decision?

“Should I do this? Or should I do that? I need to do this, before I do that, but I’ll wait a few minutes until I go and do that … that’s for sure (or is it?). After that, I better check this, and then maybe do that … oh man, it never stops. Oh well, maybe it’s too late!”

Yea, sad to say, but over-thinking is something we all do … like all the time. And sometimes we go waaayyy overboard in the process! During these times, most human beings can’t stop this stupid, time-consuming babbling nonsense (thanks evolution … you really helped us out on this one [note: I was being factitious])! Continued

Opportunity Knocks … Like ALL The Time!

Some people say, “You’ll only get one chance to achieve what you really want to do in life.” Then again, some people are idiots … and only these idiots talk like that!

OpportunityKnocks

You’ve heard me right … only stupid people believe that opportunity only knocks once in a lifetime. Here’s the simple truth of the matter: it knocks a thousand times … a million times even, if you’re listening to it. And that’s the problem: most of the times we don’t listen to it, we don’t see it right in front of our faces, or we don’t want to put in the “man hours” (A.K.A. hard work) when we do. The part that lazy people will never get is that opportunities will simply pass you by, if you’re not ready for them! Continued
