The Week in Review: Money Issues #62

The Week in Review: Money Issues” is my weekly blog research on financial topics that define us as Americans, and shape the way we should do business.

Man, I’m so ready to get out of here …

I mean, I’m not ready to start to start jinxing anything, but hopefully my Phils take this ride all the way to another downtown victory parade! We’re looking outstanding so far in this series, and I’m not going to be like the other fans who talk crap before the deal is sealed (or the Yankee fans who were talking crap way before this thing even started … “Oh, we’re going to sweep the ‘frillies’ … hey NY, what’s a ‘frillie”?) so I’m crossing my fingers and rubbing my lucky St’ Pat’s hoodie’s clover after each Phillies bat, and pointing to my Harry Kalas doll and wearing my World Series ’08 stuff the whole time (without washing it till it’s all over)! Man, I’m a nervous wreck, and I don’t think I have any fingernails left … Go Phillies!!!!

Ok, now on to the goods, which I deliver each and every week to all of “my” fans … Enjoy! Continued

Hugging It Out With That D@#k From Work!

Is some jerk-off getting you all kinds of Incredible Hulk pissed off at work (which is making your productivity level take a sharp nosedive)?

Well, you’re not alone … the workplace in general crams a bunch of jumbled people together, with a ton of very different personalities (some good, and some insanely horrific) and even though most of your coworkers will be pretty easy to get along with, there will always be that one “person” who you utterly despise … even though you can’t put your finger on why! Now, what sets the workplace apart from other places, like your home life or softball team, is that everyone (even the despicable people) must cooperate in order to get their work finished. It only makes sense then that you must do your part in relationship building to boost your company’s results! Continued

Opportunity Knocks … Like ALL The Time!

Some people say, “You’ll only get one chance to achieve what you really want to do in life.” Then again, some people are idiots … and only these idiots talk like that!

OpportunityKnocks

You’ve heard me right … only stupid people believe that opportunity only knocks once in a lifetime. Here’s the simple truth of the matter: it knocks a thousand times … a million times even, if you’re listening to it. And that’s the problem: most of the times we don’t listen to it, we don’t see it right in front of our faces, or we don’t want to put in the “man hours” (A.K.A. hard work) when we do. The part that lazy people will never get is that opportunities will simply pass you by, if you’re not ready for them! Continued

Luxury Shouldn’t Cost Nearly That Much!

Is your last name Rockefeller or Gates? Yes? Well then, there’s no need for you to read any further … have a nice day!

Now, for those who answered no, let’s get down to some brass tacks: why are you buying luxury s@#t to impress everyone with? Think it’s going to make you some new friends … think the ladies even give a crap about it (God, I hope you answered no … for your sake)? Did cavemen walk around bragging about how they just bought an imported wheel, or designer animal furs? How about the Egyptians … didn’t they ALL wear Egyptian cotton? Yes they did! So why in the h@#l do we do it in this day and age? Why do we constantly buy into the hype, which the marketers force feed down our throats with their daily advertising bombardments? Continued

Don’t Listen To One-Sided Dumba@#es In Life!

If you ever want to make it in this world, you need to tune out pathetic idiots’ jibber-jabber (note: it’s no good for you … to say the least)!

You need to remember one important thing in life: no one has any idea about what is right or wrong for you in life, no matter how hard they try to prove otherwise! For example, when they yell, “You must buy shares in this great upstart company, which will make you millions!” simply say to them “No you go ahead … YOU make money from it!” Why the nonchalance, you ask? Well, because these fools, when they talk like this are following someone else’s bad advice, and weren’t smart enough to break the stupid cycle by saying what I just told you to say. You dig?
